The first MINI Convertible was released in 1993, making 2025 its 32nd anniversary. As the UK’s most popular convertible, many don’t realise its history goes even further. In 1963, Crayford Engineering in Westerham, England, built custom roofless versions of the MINI. This proves that open-air driving has always been part of MINI’s DNA.
